It all started

Hi, I’m Kayte!

I was born and raised in Maine, lived in Boston, Los Angeles, Austin, Denver (2 separate times), and Portland (ME), and now, I can be found in St. Petersburg, Florida!

It was a wild ride, filled with some incredible experiences that made me the artist I am today. Let’s break it down…

BOSTON, MA

After college, I ended up in Boston. Tumblr was queen and Instagram had just started. Blogging was all the rage and I was thriving!

I threw myself headfirst into the world of digital marketing. I read every blog post, watched every video, and learned as much as I could about photography and marketing a blog.

During this time, I was also hired as the Community Engagement Lead for Zomato. My days consisted of pitching the app to foodies and bloggers around the city, all while networking and building my own fashion, lifestyle, and music blog on the side.

AUSTIN, TX

One of the wildest, most transformative 3 month stints of my life. Sent it as a full-time artist/ painter.

A young woman with long dark curly hair, wearing a black wide-brimmed hat with a red band, a nose ring, and a black top, taking a selfie in a room with plants and clothing in the background.

PORTLAND, ME

Re-discovered who I was. Founded Fete Market. Recovered from photography and event production burn out. Fete was a great, slow-build process that allowed me to cultivate my skills and passions in a way that didn’t feel so intense. I fell in love with photography and fashion again.

Founded WCKD Collective and went full-force into styling and selling. This time period was massive in terms of my growth as a stylist and creative director. It also taught me insurmountable amounts about running a business and what I was/ wasn’t ready for.

Full time social media manager - really pushed myself as a professional both as a freelancer and a full-time employee for CPG brands during this time period. Found my voice and started standing 10 toes down on my worth and what I brought to the table.
